Summary of appliance replacement mechanisms
Below is a collection of available statistical information on the state and age of appliances in households and the energy / environmental consequences in participating countries by national partners.
The consortium partners prepared a collection of national examples of best practice in appliance early replacement action at EU member states level by national partners, together with a discussion of positive and negative feedback. A summary paper presents a number of case studies, detailing available mechanisms to support the replacement of old appliances. It includes advice on the critical points at which to make the replacement energy and environmentally effective.
